Seeds for birds

In reading this week, I read an article called Seeds for the Birds
I found out these 5 facts:
1.  I learned that a kohekohe is a flower
2.I learned that karakas are dangerous
3. I learned that the Kukupa bird is the only bird that can eat a  whole Karaka
4. I learned what a gala is
5. I learned that karakas are too big for other birds.

I learned the meaning of these 5 words:
1.  Germinate- it begins to grow
2. Perch to be in a position on top of something
3. Poisonous-containing poison or producing poison
4. Stalk-a long narrow part of a plant that supports leaves, fruits, or flowers

5.  Seed-a small, hard object produced by plants, from which a new plant of the same kind grows
